My PumpUp Experience

On November 30, 2014, while watching a Latoya’s Life vlog on YouTube, she mentioned PumpUp, an app where you can see the workout progress of others. I had been doing my own search for such a site so I decided to give PumpUp a try. It was way more than a site to view other persons workout progress, I was able to customize my workouts, view the workout progress of others, receive tips on healthy living and recipes with amazing calorie counts, receive support from PumpUp members and get an opportunity to encourage others through their transformation process – it’s amazing and the PumpUp members are superb! Words do not do PumpUp justice, an experience on the app is required and highly recommended.

PumpUp is not just for “fat” people trying to lose weight, it’s also for persons who are fit and want to maintain their fitness. The workout routines on PumpUp have many variations – you can decide your training goal; whether you want to; lose weight, get toned, build muscle or just be healthy. You can also choose your fitness level, beginner, intermediate or advanced.

The customized PumpUp workout is honestly like a personal trainer, it is actually a personal trainer – Pat, you can set your workout duration, the equipment you have available to do the routine – you can take it to the gym and know exactly what to do without much help from a trainer, if you have no equipment to work with that’s fine too! The workouts also have instructions and they are simulated and timed so you can know what to do and how long it should take you to complete the workout. The workouts also tell you how many calories you have burnt as you go along and how far you are in the workout by telling you the percentage you have reached.  After completing the workout, you have the choice to post your results to the members of the PumpUp app. The first time I posted my results I thought no one would care, to my surprise, I got amazing feedback from the PumpUp family – “keep it up” “way to go” “you can do it”; made me want to do a couple more sets of squats – I love doing squats.

Each month the PumpUp community management team creates a new content feature, for December the content feature is: #SpreadPositivity which has really boosted the PumpUp members to encourage others during their transformation process. The PumpUp team also keeps members motivated through featuring blog posts submitted by members of the PumpUp family, stories which are amazing to read, let’s you know that you are not alone in your journey.

The results you will see by utilizing the PumpUp workout app, the self-confidence you will gain by achieving these results and the encouragement will you receive from the PumpUp family is second to none. Try it, you won’t be disappointed.

You can download the PumpUp app to your mobile phone from the Google Play Store or you can download the PumpUp app directly from the PumpUp website – http://pumpup.co/ – to your PC or your mobile phone.
